Savory menu. Homemade sides. This is the restaurant people say they miss the most after leaving Athens. Breakfast sandwiches are available as well.

Miller's chicken is one of those hidden treasures in Athens. They have some of the best fried chicken and chicken sandwiches in Ohio. Everyone that works there is friendly as well. The only con to this place is that the sitting room itsself is smaller so try to not go at the lunch rush and expect to find a table quick

Miller's Chicken is arguably the best fried chicken in Athens. It has varied menu complete with any cut or piece of chicken imaginable and any side dish that would go great with chicken. Additionally, there's always a variety of pie available. This is a special place on the West side of Athens that must be tried!

Miller’s is an Athens staple. Great chicken (it’s in the name of course) and great real sides like potato salad and macaroni salad in a very smart variety of sizes. My personal favorite things here are a quarter pound of livers and a Super Chicken sandwich with everything. Made to order, fresh, hot and delicious every time. Google is now ogling at the livers.

Millers chicken is an Athens institution. I remember them as a child and my grandmother wouldn't buy chicken or turkey from anyone else. I don't know if they still sell fresh poultry but they sell some fantastic fried chicken. Be prepared to wait as it is cooked to order but it is worth it. Be sure to try the potato wedges

I love their fried chicken wings and livers. I went once and now Im addicted and keep going back. Sometimes they have a 40min wait time so beware. Hasn't been so bad since the college students left.

Best place to get gizzards and livers. Little hole in the wall place, very clean and excellent food. I come here for the lives every chance I get. Proportion size is excellent. Service is fast and very friendly

The chicken is great, there's no denying that. The toppings on my sandwich were fresh as well. As often happens with 'we do one thing and we do it great' places, something else becomes an afterthought - in this case, condiments. Our side of beautiful onion rings could have been even better with some house or local artisan ketchup instead of packets.

Excellent food and service!

There are chicken joints, chicken restaurants, and then places like Miller's, which are chicken institutions. They do not mess around. They do not play a game of chicken. They are very serious and their food shows it. You want livers? Done. Hearts? Absolutely. Breasts or wings or thighs? Please. Everything is excellent and you cannot go wrong.

Good food! Not everyone can do potato salad, but they did a good job. Great time hanging with friends.

Have always loved there freshness ,quality.quantity of food. Very good service and prices are right.recommend it my favorite is deep fried livers and poppers love it been going there since I was young I'm 53 and haven't been there in over 20 years just moved back to Ohio 7 months ago and had the opportunity to go today food is still awesome as ever. Well accidentally rated this place 3 stars while it was in my pocket I felt like that wasn't fair... so for real this is some of the best chicken in town for sure the best classic fried chicken in town and it's super cheap so college students should be able to have a blast on the specials!

Well. I heard that is one of the restaurants with the best chicken meal in town or nearby areas! It is not just a small local business but also the meals aren't very expensive, they're pretty affordable, and the chicken is delicious - don't give more money to KFC! AND THEY HAVE TASTY FRIES AND MAC&CHEESE! So, just go and enjoy a great meal!

This is the Best Fried Chicken in Athens County. Made from scratch pies and desserts. You can also order chicken by your preference of piece, buy a combo, and get livers, gizzards, and hearts by the pound. So freaking good.

We get carry out from here and it is delicious. You can walk in and order with a short wait. They have the best chicken and many sides to choose from. Some of my favorites are macaroni salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, and baked beans. There is also inside seating available for dining in. This establishment is an Athens icon and has been around for over 60 years.

Miller's is family owned Chicken restaurant that serves very good meals and they have in the same location for a long time.

Always delicious, hot, and crispy! Macaroni salad is just like Mama makes, and prices are very affordable!

They have fried chicken livers, mushrooms, zucchini, onion rings etc. Chicken livers have 3 times as much iron as beef liver.

Good food good price. I like that everything was fresh and cooked when ordered.

If you don't already know how great Millers is, just skip it. We'd prefer it be kept a local secret.......If you must go - be sure to try to the Super Chicken Sandwich! I get that for there and a bunch of chicken to go. The sides and pie is also amazing. I recommend call in your order because it's made to order. No warming lights here.

Miller's: If you like fried chicken, chicken parts, mac n cheese, or pretty much anything that is equal parts delicious protein, grease, and happiness, then this is the place to eat yourseld into a food coma. Fair prices. My only gripe? The only beverages are canned and a good chunk more in price than you would find at a gas station or such.

Took a group of Harley riders here for lunch on Saturday during the pandemic. No inside dining so had to takeout. Food was delicious and service was good even though they were swamped with customers. Family owned homey place. Athenians rave about it.
